In 2021,affected by the low base hit by the epidemic last year,the income of rural residents in China continued to recover,the income growth of rural residents was faster than that of urban residents,and the income gap between urban and rural residents continued to narrow. The consumption expenditure of rural residents rebounded in a restorative way,and the basic people’s livelihood was effectively guaranteed. In 2021,the per capita disposable income of rural residents was 18931 Yuan,a nominal increase of 10.5% over the previous year,and a real increase of 9.7% after deducting the price factor. The per capita consumption expenditure of rural residents was 15916 Yuan,a nominal increase of 16.1%,and a real increase of 15.3% after deducting the price factor. All consumption expenditures achieved double-digit growth. In 2021,the Engel’s coefficient of rural residents was 32.7%,basically the same as that of the previous year,and the proportion of service consumption expenditure rebounded.
