Through carbon emissions accounting，this report found that the total carbon emissions from 2005 to 2019 were relatively large in the Yangtze River Delta，but the energy consumption intensity and carbon emissions intensity were lower than the national level. Economic growth and carbon emissions in the region were weakly decoupled. There were obvious regional differences. Shanghai is a low-carbon leading area，and the pressure of emission reduction in Jiangsu，Zhejiang and Anhui provinces was still large. In order to solve the problems of heavy economic and energy structure and the shortage of resources and environment，the report puts forward some emission reduction strategies，including clean replacement of fossil energy，low-carbon transformation of key industries，establishment of a low-carbon financial market，and administrative coordination，and so on.
