Compiling the educational code is an inevitable requirement for perfecting the educational legal system and promoting the legalization of education. At present，codifying educational code is both necessary and feasible. Around the codification of the educational code，the theoretical circle has carried out relevant research and achieved preliminary results，which provides theoretical support for the codification. Combined with China’s national conditions，the compilation of educational code should adopt the mode of unified legislation. On the basis of promoting the continuous improvement of special laws in the field of education，the unified education code should be gradually formed according to the idea of “establishing the general provisions first，then establishing the specific provisions，and finally integrating them”，so as to provide institutional support and legal guarantee for the high-quality development of education in China.
