At present，urban construction has entered a new stage of high-quality development，and new requirements have been put forward for surveying & mapping and geoinformation services. Based on the analysis of the characteristics of new urban surveying & mapping and geoinformation services under the background of high-quality development of urban construction，this article discussed the demands for urban surveying & mapping and geoinformation talents’ knowledge and ability，and put forward relevant suggestions.
