This report takes China’s data journalism education as the research object，and obtains the situations of data journalism education about 500 colleges and universities through online public information，research materials obtained from scientific research institutions，questionnaires，written interviews，etc.. Taking 120 colleges and universities with data journalism courses as research samples，the current situation of data journalism education in China’s colleges and universities in terms of course offerings，number of courses，course titles and course types are sorted out. It is believed that data journalism education in China has the characteristics of rapid development and large regional differences. At the same time，researches on data journalism ethics，data neutrality and other issues in the teaching process are carried out，and suggestions for improvement are provided in response to the problems found in the research.
