The aging of population has put forward higher requirements for the innovative development of China’s elderly care industry. Actively promoting intelligent elderly care is an important measure to deal with the aging of population. Focusing on the classic cases of the application of smart caring service in Beijing，this paper analyzes the status quo of the application of smart caring service in Beijing，analyzes the development opportunities and prospects of smart caring service in the capital from the aspects of technical support，network basis and application scenarios，and puts forward the following suggestions：To develop “people-oriented” smart service for elderly，promote the cultivation and construction of smart elderly care personnel and create a good environment for the development of smart elderly care services.
