In July 2015，China successfully won the right to host the 13th Winter Paralympic Games in 2022. At present，Beijing and Zhangjiakou are fully prepared for the Winter Paralympic Games. The holding of the 2022 winter Paralympic Games in Beijing has been boosting the optimization and promotion of the functions of government departments，improving the sports laws and regulations for the persons with disabilities，optimizing the scientific training system for winter events for the persons with disabilities. Meanwhile，it has been upgrading the construction level of barrier-free environment in city and promoting the development of ice and snow sports for persons with disabilities.
