As an important component of new energy vehicles，fuel cell vehicles are entering a period of rapid development. The development of the industry needs the guidance and specification of standards. The Sub-Technical Committee on Electric Vehicles of the National Technical Committee of Standardization Administration of China is actively committed to the standardization of fuel cell electric vehicles. Since 2009，it has issued 15 national and industry standards for fuel cell vehicles，covering basic general，complete vehicles，key systems and components，interfaces，facilities and other fields. A relatively perfect standard system for fuel cell electric vehicles has been formed. This paper mainly introduces the latest development of Chinese and international standards and regulations for fuel cell electric vehicles and its future prospects.
