Hydrogen production and utilization in China is mainly concentrated in the chemical and metallurgical industries. As an industrial raw material，hydrogen production capacity is about 40.5 million tons/year，and hydrogen production is about 32.5 million tons/year. The amount of hydrogen used as a “fuel” is small. In the field of chemical industry，coal，natural gas and industrial by-products are the main sources of hydrogen，while ammonia synthesis，methanol，modern coal chemical industry，coke and semi-coke by-products of hydrogen are the main downstream consumption of hydrogen. It is expected that the fields of direct reduced iron，fuel cell vehicles，fuel cell ships，fuel cell power generation，and natural gas mixed with hydrogen combustion will become new growth points of hydrogen in the future.
