The NPC’ Standing Committee and the State Council of the PRC continually made obvious improvements in their human rights related legislation in 2019. In the past year，a dozen of laws and regulations on medicine and health，food security，community correction，government information publication，administrative decision，payment for labour，judges，procurators and some other important issues were adopted or amended，the legal provisions and system of education on custody and education was abolished，and the legislative protection of many kinds of personal，economic，social and political rights of Chinese citizens was greatly enhanced.
