Due to the impact of the outbreak of COVID-19，this year China’s marine public services fought the epidemic without stopping work，turned pressure into motivation to adopt a more flexible and innovative approach to promote the development of various businesses，put in new domestic equipment continuously，has opened a new horizon for polar scientific research，completed set tasks on time and with quality and quantity. China’s maritime search and rescue has always maintained a high success rate of search and rescue. The development of ocean observation business did not appear to be stagnant，the ocean satellite system continued to improve，and the research vessel continued to navigate under the protection of comprehensive plans. The marine disaster prevention and mitigation business was advancing specific operations while emphasizing institutional construction；The information construction made great progress in two aspects：infrastructure construction and information sharing. The marine standard introduced a number of recommended industry standards and group standards. The development of marine public service was a necessary action for China to practice a Maritime Community with a Shared Future. Therefore，the next step was to carry out a full range of multiform international cooperation，while also focusing on the publicity of all people.
