Since the beginning of safeguard of intangible cultural heritage （ICH），digital technology has been applied to safeguard the ICH. With the continuous innovation，development and maturity of digital technology，the practice form of ICH digital protection has become more and more abundant，and it has gradually become the diversified digital inheritance and protection mode from the archival digital preservation and communication mode. Although the application of new technology methods and combination mode further aggravates the aphasia situation of inheritors in ICH safeguard，increases the risk of ICH isolation and the challenge of ICH value system change. However through establishing the correct safeguard concept，improving the guarantee mechanism in many aspects，promoting the research and development of new digital technology，improving the quality of intangible cultural heritage protection，cultivating interdisciplinary professionals and improving the technical literacy of inheritors，it can not only give full play to the advantages of digital technology and realize the ICH “being digital” of intangible cultural heritage，but also promote the innovation and development of digital technology and realize the mutual benefit and win-win of ICH and digital technology.
