With the rapid development of autonomous driving technology and intelligent networking technology，the supporting pilot demonstration projects and industrialization policies are also being improved. With the stable operation of the national expressway network toll project，the 5G standards and the promotion of commercialization，vehicle-Infrastructure collaboration has also been explored in terms of technology selection，application scenarios and other aspects. This paper summarizes and analyzes the current situation in terms of industrialization policies，technology development status，application pilot demonstrations and industrialization standards related to autonomous driving and vehicle-road collaboration，and makes suggestions on the next development of autonomous driving and vehicle-road collaboration in terms of implementation scope，implementation focus and technology development in conjunction with the pilot construction of a strong transportation country and the demand for new transportation infrastructure：strengthen overall planning and coordination and encourage exploration of policies and regulations in pilot demonstration areas；strengthen process supervision and operation evaluation，be prudent and inclusive，and promote the healthy development of technology；under the guidance of unified standards，strive to build a number of demonstration application scenarios；thoroughly implement the data security requirements and build a “car road cloud” oriented network security system；integrate the needs of road network management and service industry to build an industrial chain.
