After the implementation of the Interim Measures for Examination of Qualification of Doctors Who Do Have Expertise in Traditional Chinese Medicine，an analysis of the status quo of registration，examination and practice of traditional Chinese medicine （expertise） doctors in various provinces （autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government） and the detailed rules for their implementation shows that some provinces have increased restrictions on the conditions for registration，such as the requirements for recommending doctors，the requirements for registration and the requirements for the relationship with recommended patients. Some provinces have expanded the scope of applicants，some provinces have different examination standards，and some provinces have changed the examination procedures and organization. This paper analyzes the problems of registration and supervision of Chinese medicine （specialty） doctors，and then puts forward suggestions to improve the examination system of Chinese medicine （specialty） doctors.
