Based on the exploration and practice of developing Gobi ecological agriculture in Gansu Province，this report analyzes the characteristics and ecological effects of Gobi Eco-agriculture，through the empirical studies on policy measures，main practices and development progress，and further concludes that the development of Gobi Eco-agriculture in the Hexi region is consistent with the principle of building a resource-saving and environment-friendly ecological civilization pattern，providing special functions and significance for the ecological protection of the Qilian Mountain. Finally，this report proposes that Gobi Eco-agriculture should always plan economic and social development from the perspective of harmonious coexistence between human beings and nature，always guard the boundary and bottom line of natural ecology，always uphold the concept of reform and innovation to promote the development of “three deepenings”，and always take the management and protection of “sand environment” as a major issue for sustainable development to facilitate four suggestions，with a view to benefiting the economic development and ecological protection of the Hexi region.
