As an important part of the development for the cause for the persons with disabilities，competitive sports for the persons with disabilities in China has made great achievements since the reform and opening up. This report reviews the development process of competitive sports for the persons with disabilities in China，analyzes the current situation of competitive sports for the persons with disabilities in China，and finds that there are some problems in competitive sports for the persons with disabilities in China，such as low social cognition and attention laws and policies need to be improved，the management system needs to be optimized，the construction of talent team needs to be improved urgently，and theoretical research and scientific and technological development need to be strengthened. In view of these problems，this paper puts forward targeted countermeasures and suggestions，such as paying attention to public opinion publicity，strengthening law enforcement，further improving the management system of competitive sports for the persons with disabilities with Chinese characteristics，optimizing the talent management system，and strengthening the theoretical research and scientific and technological development of competitive sports for the person with disabilities.
