Artificial Intelligence（AI）is rapidly iterating. From technological innovation to scene implementation，the whole chain of AI is becoming more perfect. AI technology has an important impact on economic and social development and regional competitiveness. The Yangtze River Delta is one of the regions with the most active economic development，the highest degree of openness and the strongest innovation capacity in China. Accelerating the high-quality development of AI in the Yangtze River Delta is an important grasp to implement the national strategy of the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region and promote the upgrading of the regional AI industry and economic development. Therefore，it is important to study the development of AI industry in the Yangtze River Delta. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of the development of AI in the Yangtze River Delta in terms of development status，policy synergy，city network，technical cooperation，spatial layout and industrial parks. This study clarifies the development trend of AI in the Yangtze River Delta，and proposes the promotion path of high-quality development of AI in the Yangtze River Delta with a view to providing useful reference for future development practice.
