The health impact assessment is an important channel in promoting “Integrate health into all policies”. This paper introduces the related concepts of health impact assessment，and sorts out the basic process of it as well as its qualitative and quantitative assessment methods. Based on the review of the health impact assessment，this paper analyzes the health impacts of 21 environmental impact assessment reports from the aspects of current situation investigation，assessment methods，prevention and protection measures and public participation，etc. On this basis，some suggestions are put forward for the future practice of health impact assessment in China.
