Fengxian is a district with great development potential in Shanghai，and “future space” is a place of hope for Fengxian’s leapfrog development and will play a key role in building an innovative city and a digital city. The construction of Fengxian New City will bring opportunities such as upgrading software and hardware conditions，increasing popularity and attraction，as well as challenges such as many uncertainties in the exploration stage，competition with other new towns and the gap in internal resource allocation to “future space”. Only by taking advantage of the infrastructure and public service construction of Fengxian New City，helping to form the technical innovation bearing area，and building a model area of industry city integration with the construction of Fengxian New City，can “future space” achieve efficient development.
