In 2021，foreign trade in Fengxian fully seized the important opportunity of international and domestic double circulation and actively responded to the impact of repeated global epidemic. In the first seven months，the total value of imports and exports in Fengxian was 59.43 billion yuan，up 23.1% compared with down 1.0% in the same period of last year，the export value was 31.96 billion yuan，up 32.6%，and the import value was 27.49 billion yuan，up13.7%，the imported scale has been larger than the exported. Export has become the main force of foreign trade growth in Fengxian again. Relying on the policy dividend，Fengxian Comprehensive Bonded Zone has witnessed the rapid development of cross-border e-commerce and successfully opened a new situation of cross-border trade in Fengxian. Fengxian performed well in attracting foreign investment. In the first eight months of 2021，the contract amount of FDI attracted by Fengxian was $1.02 billion，up 23.1%，the actual amount in place of FDI was $257 million，down 2.0%. Overall，with the rapid growth of digital trade，the in-depth promotion of the integration of Yangtze River Delta and the leap-forward development of Lin-Gang Special Area，the comprehensive strength and energy level of Fengxian’s foreign economy will continue to increase.
