The sudden outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020 has had a great impact on China’s economic and social development. China’s macro environment has undergone major changes，and economic and social development is facing pressures and challenges brought by internal and external environmental changes. Fengxian district grasping hard work，economy has achieved continuous development. This chapter first analyzes the basic situation of industrial economy in Fengxian since 2021 and the general situation of industrial economy in Fengxian District in 2020. The research data show that：In 2020，there were 1063 industrial enterprises above designated size in the region，with 201 loss-making units. Compared with 2019，the loss-making ratio increased to 18.91%，but the total loss of 201 loss-making units gradually decreased from 3.083 billion yuan in 2018 to 2.178 billion yuan in 2020. Total output value of industries above designated size will increase by 1.68% in 2020. It is noteworthy that the industrial output value of strategic emerging industries reached 63.5 billion yuan，accounting for 34% of the industrial output value above the designated scale in the whole region. The total industrial output value of Oriental Meigu beauty and health industry has increased to 40 billion yuan，accounting for 21% of the total industrial output value of the whole region. Further，this chapter makes a detailed analysis and judgment on the development of “industrial enterprises above scale by town”，“industrial enterprises above scale by industry” and “industrial enterprises above scale by registration type” in Fengxian District.
