Leading by the progress of AI technology，Korean media is integrating with strategic emerging industries and developing rapidly. Firstly，starting from the industrial development policy support，this paper discusses the strategic direction of the Korean government to develop AI. Secondly，explores the current technology application supporting the development of smart media from the perspective of media application of artificial intelligence technology. Thirdly，it analyzes the current situation of Korean radio and television industry and the development status of smart media. Finally，proposed that South Korea will increase infrastructure investment in virtual reality，strengthen the production capacity of intelligent content development enterprises and improve the technical capacity of intelligent content production enterprises in the future，so as to promote a new round of innovation of intelligent media innovation.
