2019 marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of new China. This year，under the organization and promotion of academic groups such as the Chinese society of international law and the China Society of Private International Law，Chinese scholars have achieved fruitful results in the study of private international law. This year，scholars focus on the hot issues in China’s foreign-related civil and commercial judicial practice，and have published a large number of theoretical achievements. In particular，some valuable viewpoints have been put forward，regarding the basic theoretical issues of conflict law，legal issues in the construction of Guangdong，Hong Kong and Macao Bay area，long arm jurisdiction and extraterritorial application of law，recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments，and new development of international commercial arbitration. These research results play one indispensable role in promoting China’s “The Belt and Road” initiative and improving our foreign legal system.
