Qilihai wetland once led to rapid deterioration of ecological environment due to one-sided economic development. In recent years，Party committees and governments at all levels in Tianjin have actively implemented Xi Jinping’s new socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics，guided by the concept of green development and Xi Jinping’s rule of law，and promoted the rule of law in China’s ecological environment. Formulate a series of laws，regulations and system documents such as the plan of Tianjin Wetland Nature Reserve，Tianjin wetland protection regulations and Tianjin wetland ecological compensation measures，promote strict law enforcement and fair justice of environmental protection，and cultivate and enhance the people’s concept and awareness of ecological and environmental protection. Through the joint efforts of all parties，Qilihai wetland has completed various wetland ecological protection and restoration projects such as water source regulation and storage，Reed Sea restoration，bird protection and biological chain restoration. Significant achievements have been made in legalized environmental remediation，and the ecology has been fundamentally improved，reproducing the Qilihai where “grass and trees compete and hundreds of birds gather” in the past.
