Transportation integration is a major strategy to play the role of the central city’s carrying and radiating effects. In order to construct a suburban railway required for Beijing’s future development，this essay，based on the existing documents，analyzes the Tokyo Rail Transit System and its function in optimizing urban space and industrial chain structure. The author believes that the construction of rail transit in the Beijing metropolitan area can learn from the successful experience of Tokyo. It can use TOD mode to strengthen and guide the planning and construction of rail transit and joint land development，and do a good job in designing the interchange hub，planning the surrounding area of stations，and constructing the commercial network.
