The urban environmental management evaluation in 2018 is the continuation of the urban environmental management evaluation in 2017. In order to ensure the consistency and comparability of the assessment results，the environmental management evaluation indicators and weight distribution in 2018 are exactly the same as those in 2017. Based on the evaluation results of urban environmental management from 2017 to 2018，this report makes a comparative analysis on the environmental management level of 36 key cities in China. The results show that the overall level of urban environmental management is on the rise. Compared with 2017，the average score of environmental management level of 36 key cities in China in 2018 increased，and the level of urban environmental management is generally improving；For solid waste management，gas waste management，liquid waste management，ecological greening management and noise environmental management，their average scores are increasing. The difference is that the increase range is different；Urumqi，Nanjing and Guangzhou increased by 9 or more places，while Beijing and Shijiazhuang decreased by 10 or more places.
