Henan province is the only province which is involved in four national cultural parks nationwide and it has also been identified as the key construction area of the Yellow River National Cultural Park as well as the demonstration zone of the ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin. The construction of Yellow River National Cultural Park in Henan province plays a role of advanced demonstration in the whole construction of Yellow River National Cultural Park. According to the arrangement of CPC Central Committee，Henan Provincial Party Committee and the People’s Government of Henan province follow the pace of “act earlier and advance faster” to promote the construction of Yellow River National Cultural Park actively and preliminary results have been achieved. The overall plan of Yellow River National Cultural Park in Henan province has been initially identified：taking “civilization alluvial fan” as the concept，taking cultural geographic relevance，ecosystem integrity and regional development synergy into consideration，and aiming at the construction of fan spatial pattern featured by “one core，four polars，one axis，two wings and several bands”. Nowadays，the planning work of the Plan of Yellow River National Cultural Park has been basically accomplished. The resources database of Yellow River National Cultural Park and the management platform of the major projects of Yellow River National Cultural Park have been established. The construction of several cultural heritage corridors has been taking shape，such as Yellow River cultural heritage protection corridor，the long corridor of grand heritage park and ecological cultural tourism corridor along the Yellow River. As far as these situations concerned，there are some existing problems and potential risks. Insufficient attention is paid to the protection of cultural heritage and its cultural and natural ecosystem on which it depends. It’s urgent to conduct the theoretical study of Yellow River National Cultural Park and the relative study should be in-depth. The establishment of management system of Yellow River National Cultural Park encounters numerous difficulties and the complicated relations at different levels should be untangled. The above conditions require us to put the principle of conservation protection as first priority in construction and management integrate scientific research force to deepen the relative study of Yellow River National Cultural Park，establish authoritative and efficient management system and handle the various relationships correctly.
