In 2021，journalism of Henan province progressed at a steady pace with the media size and network media expanding. Traditional media，including broadcasting，TV and newspaper got down to digital transformation. New technology application of 5G and big data and media transformation kept developing further. What’s more，more and more young people became employees of the relative fields. In 2021，cultural video programs of Henan province gained high praise across the country. Powerful combination between media and high-quality content achieved good spread effect. Meanwhile，there appeared pressing problems in the respects of the construction of convergence media center at the county level，the public opinion guidance of major incident，and media’s social responsibility. The problems above became difficulties that should be overcome in the process of development of Henan provincial journalism. In order to fulfill the tasks of publicy and ideological work，we should stay true to our mission，inspire the people，bring up the next generation，develop socialist culture and enhance international communication. Henan province should evaluate the function of media convergence center at the county level，improve public opinion response mechanism for major emergencies and perfect media social responsibility reporting system so as to fully promote Henan provincial journalism to a new stage.
