The high-level construction of urban cooperative areas is an important issue for promoting new urbanization and regional coordinated devel-opment in Henan Province during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. At present，the three regional central cities in north henan，south Henan and east Henan have achieved steady development，and the actual foundation of urban cooperative area construction is good，but the overall economic development level of regional central cities is not high；It is seriously affected by administrative divisions，and there are many obstacles to urban cooperation；Coordinated development mech-anism is not perfect，lack of overall planning and standardized management and many other problems. Therefore，we should enhance the leading role of the central city and give play to the regional coordination role of large enterprise groups. Establishing and improving systems and mechanisms for coordinated regional development；Strengthen the docking of cities and improve the efficiency of coordinated development；Strengthen spatial zoning and optimize spatial devel-opment layout.
