In the historical convergence period of “Two Overall Situation”，General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed that China is in the new historical stage，we should promote the formation of a new development pattern based on the domestic big cycle as well as the domestic and international dual circulation. Under this background，The Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China put forward “We will continue to focus economic development on the real economy”，On the basis of the multiplier effect of human resources on real economy and the strategic hinterland position of central China in the dual circulation new development pattern，this paper analyzed the coordinated development of real economy and human resources in central China. Based on the analysis of the panel data of the six central provinces from 2015 to 2019，it found that the coordinated development degree of human resources and the real economy in the six central provinces is continuously increasing，and the two systems can effectively form a situation of mutual promotion and coordinated development. However，there are still problems such as irrational industrial structure，insufficient investment in human resources，shortage of high-level talents，low labor productivity，weak independent innova-tion ability and low level of green development. In the context of high-quality development in the new era，in order to achieve the central China’s rising，optimize and stabilize the domestic industrial chain and supply chain，enhance China’s competitiveness and global value chain position，it is necessary to strengthen the construction of human resources in all directions，promote the development of the real economy through multiple channels，build a modern industrial system ecosystem，strengthen inter-regional cooperation and communi-cation in a wide range of areas，and enhance the level of green development from multiple perspectives.
