As a public welfare undertaking in China，the medical and health industry has developed rapidly in recent years，among which，the PPP mode of cooperation between the government and social capital has played a positive role in boosting the development. Based on the information of the national PP comprehensive information platform project management database of the Ministry of Finance，this paper explains the industry pattern，development trend and application scene of the PPP model in the medical and health industry through the digital combing，comparative analysis and rational discrimination of the promotion，return mechanism，operation mode，investment scale，urban distribution and policy support of the PPP project in the medical and health industry. This paper puts forward the problems and challenges of PPP model in medical and health industry in the aspects of “debt control” and development，efficiency and standardization，whole life cycle supervision and performance evaluation，multi-point promotion and key guidance，industry legislation and regulatory policy，and puts forward the role of PPP model in the construction of rural medical and health system，the role of performance evaluation in the whole life cycle of PPP and the role of PPP model in the construction of medical，nursing and pension service system，etc. The prospect suggestions are put forward.
