At present, China's economy into the new normal, urgent need to convert the power and economic development mode of economic growth, to realize the transformation and upgrading of industry; urgent need of regional coordinated development, together toward modernization, the realization of common prosperity. The Yangtze River Delta region as the strongest comprehensive strength among regions in China, is an important engine to enhance the comprehensive national strength and international competitiveness, promote national economic development. Therefore, in the new situation, to promote the integration of the Yangtze River Delta in the new starting point. This paper firstly analyses the deepening the existing knowledge about the integration of the Yangtze River Delta, including basic system, economic base, cultural and educational foundation; secondly, respectively, of the Shanghai Municipality, Jiangsu Province, Zhejiang Province and Anhui Province in economy under the new normal deepening integration of the Yangtze River Delta is facing opportunities and challenges.
