Guangzhou possesses apparent comparative advantages over other Chinese cities in terms of international exchanges including bilateral exchange with sister cities，multi-lateral exchange on the platform of international organizations and non-governmental exchange. In the future Guangzhou should promote Foreign Affair+ working mode，shift focus forward，integrate international resources，innovate exchange model and build brand for foreign exchange activities in order to aggregate useful resources，optimize developmental environment，enhance city image and boost Guangzhou’s international influence.
