With the further development of the world multi-polarization and economy globalization，the aviation industry is vigorously developed in the world，especially in China. Nowadays，the growth mode of the world economy is in transformation and the economic structure is in adjustment，the development of aviation industry shows strong growth momentum and the aviation economy is increasingly more important in driving the development of regional economy. Aerotropolis is a new urban form that it bases on the airport and develops around the airport as a hub，which is emerging and rapidly growing around the world. The construction and development of aerotropolis will promote its comprehensive strength and improve the vitality and competitiveness of the regional economy. At present，the development of most aerotropolis in China is still in the primary stage of the formation of synthesis. It is necessary to use the mature experiences of the foreign countries in constructing aerotropolis for reference，thus exploring the aerotropolis construction mode in line with China’s national conditions. The UK is one of the earliest countries to develop aerotropolis，London Heathrow Airport and Manchester International Airport as representatives of the new mode of aerotropolis construction indicates the future development trend，which will provide useful experience and inspiration for China. This paper takes comparative analysis on Sino-British aerotropolis construction in their development pattern，spatial structure，financing mode，and so on. It indicates that further cooperation can be operated in areas of finance，logistics，advanced technology，modern education，ecological protection，and so on. And，in order to promote the aerotropolis construction in Zhengzhou，it is essential to carry out the following works：strengthen the strategic cooperation with the countries along the Belt and Road routes，and improve the integrated development of informatization and urbanization，industrial chains，talent supply and environmental protection. All of these researches on Sino-British construction practice will provide experiences and references for China to accelerate its aerotropolis construction.
