To accelerate the development of new high grounds for inland opening up is an actual imperative to further answer the call of the series of speeches by General Secretary Xi Jinping，accommodate the development trend of the new round of economic globalization，correctly grasp the New Normal in Anhui economic development，implement the 13th Five-year Development Plan of Anhui，and integrate into the Yangtze River Delta City Cluster. Anhui possesses the basic elements for developing a new high ground for inland opening up that is both interactive and well-connected internally and externally. Anhui faces new opportunities and challenges in the development of a new high ground for inland opening up，and in the new epoch of economic globalization and regional integration，Anhui，in its efforts to build an inland high ground for opening up，should actively utilize current national platform，nurture subjects for open economy and innovation-oriented industrial bases；actively join and expand practical cooperation with countries along the Belt and Road；actively explore and establish institutions and mechanisms for inland opening up；actively plan the development of Hefei Free Trade Zone；focus on the optimization of the development environment for Anhui’s opening up and reform；and innovate the means and methods to promote Anhui to the outside world.
