In 2016，it is the key year of development of Lianyungang. Lianyungang economy shows a smooth trend. The main indicators are maintained in a reasonable range. The positive factors of economic development are increasing. Center，East and West regional Cooperation demonstration，SCO（Lianyungang）International Logistics Park，Port and so on，the task of key development projects remains difficult，presents a trend of slow progress. Look from the economic development，the economic development of Lianyungang will appear the following trends in 2017. First，we will face more complicated macro environment. Secondly，the structural contradictions of development are still outstanding. Thirdly，the constraint pressure of resource environment is still large. Therefore，we propose that，we should adjust the development strategy as soon as possible. To introduce three-edge into the economy，and integrate actively into four-along strategy.
