Marine Spatial Planning（MSP）is a public process of analyzing and allocating thespatial and temporal distribution of human activities to specific marine areas to achieve ecological，economic，and social goals and objectives that are specified through a political process. MSP has become an important tool for integrated marine management. In recent years，with the intensification of climate change and the human activities in the polar regions，the contradiction between the protection of the ecological environment in the Arctic and the activities of human use has gradually emerged. The development of Marine Space Planning and the effective management of human activities in the arctic region have become the urgent needs of polar environmental protection and sustainable development and utilization. a comprehensive analysis of the background of the arctic ocean space planning，the arctic ocean of existing space planning practice case analysis，the planning of related to Marine spatial planning，finally according to the situation of the polar Marine spatial planning，looking forward to study and formulate the arctic Marine spatial planning ideas.

By combing through the main value of the Arctic region，regional political environment and typical national polar strategy，this paper comprehensively analyzes the background of the Arctic ocean space planning，analyzes the existing practice cases of MSP in the Arctic region，organizes the planning work related to the MSP，and finally，according to the present situation of polar space planning，the author looks forward to developing the Arctic MSP.
