Since the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta became a national strategy，Anhui，as an important part of such development，has actively moved forward in accordance with the strategic deployment in the Outline of Rules for the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta. Facing challenges brought by uncertain factors such as the prevention and control of the new corona virus epidemic，Anhui resolutely implements the spirit of the important speeches by General Secretary Xi Jinping delivered during his inspection visit to Anhui and on the symposium on solid advancement of the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta in Hefei，and is transforming from full participation to deep integration. Relying on the advantages of scientific and technological innovation，Anhui has achieved positive results and important enlightenment in promoting the high-quality development of regional integration. Meanwhile，it is also facing some contradictions and difficulties，and deep-level institutional obstacles. To this end，several corresponding thinking and policy recommendations have been offered based on in-depth investigations.
