Chengdu is an important transportation hub for China’s Western Development Program. This city is also an important gateway that connects China with the Middle East and Western Europe. Affected by climate and natural geographical conditions，the development of ice hockey in Chengdu started late. However，with the support of relevant policies and regional development，in recent years，the number of ice stadiums in Chengdu has gradually increased，the number of ice hockey clubs has increased significantly，the level of competition has continued to rise，and the enthusiasm of the masses for participation has gradually increased. This report focuses on the development process and current situation of the ice hockey industry in Chengdu according to obtaining first-hand information through in-depth research，field investigations，and interviews. Meanwhile，it also explores the development path of ice hockey in Chengdu from the perspectives of ice hockey infrastructure，ice hockey clubs，professional ice hockey teams，and youth ice hockey. This report aims to provide references and help for the development of ice hockey in other parts of China.
