Since the founding of New China，our ice and snow sports，especially related policies of ice hockey，have been inseparable from the country’s development. As an important part of ice and snow sports，the developing processes of ice hockey policies in China could be mainly divided into five stages：the policy budding stage，the policy overall standstill stage，the policy steadily advancing stage，the targeted policy intensive release stage，and the policy system efficient development stage. Based on the developing processes of ice hockey policies，the development trend of China ice hockey policies mainly includes：government-led and social governance are more closely integrated，policy content is more targeted，and the characteristics of coordinated development of policy priorities are more prominent. The promulgation and development of related policies provide a reference for the high-quality development of ice hockey.
