The promulgation and implementation of the newly revised regulations of Beijing on domestic waste treatment has not only promoted the waste sorting in the community，but also promoted the waste sorting action in Colleges and universities. Through the investigation on the waste sorting actions of some colleges and universities in Beijing，it is found that there are not only some achievements in the waste sorting work of colleges and universities in Beijing，such as the relatively perfect allocation of waste sorting facilities，the more in place of sorting guidelines and publicity slogans，the clear responsibility of waste collection and transportation management，but also the more random release behavior of waste emitters，the insufficient coordination of waste sorting and treatment subjects Imperfect waste sorting and treatment system and insufficient publicity and guidance. In view of the existing problems，colleges and universities need to build a diversified and coordinated waste sorting and treatment subject system as soon as possible，establish and improve relevant systems，and strengthen the publicity and guidance of teachers and students’ waste，so as to further improve the waste sorting action of colleges and universities in Beijing.
