Cultural events have various types and rich functions，which can not only enhance the value of cultural elements，integrate cultural resources and optimize urban public space，but also meet consumption and spiritual needs and enhance cultural self-confidence. At present，with the increasingly rich forms of cultural events，the rapid development of cultural events and the strong development of digital cultural events in the context of cultural and tourism integration，Beijing can promote the construction of Beijing International Exchange Center by improving Beijing’s cultural inclusiveness，accelerating Beijing’s industrial integration，enhancing the external image of the background and improving the spiritual outlook of citizens. The International Exchange Center is one of the four core functions of Beijing and the primary stage for China to undertake major diplomatic and foreign affairs activities. In order to better realize the function of the International Exchange Center，we should further build the brand of cultural activities，optimize cultural policies，strengthen the international level of cultural evens and create new forms of cultural events.
