Green,low-carbon and sustainable development have become the global consensus. General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out:“We should practice the new concept of green development,and practice the green,low-carbon,recycling and sustainable production and lifestyle”,and emphasized on many international occasions that China will achieve the goals of peak carbon dioxide emissions in 2030 and carbon neutrality in 2060. Digital economy driven by digital technology has become an important part of social and economic development,and it also brings unprecedented opportunities for green,low-carbon and sustainable development. This paper makes an empirical analysis on how digital technology contributes to eight aspects:green infrastructure,green low-carbon office,green low-carbon transportation,green low-carbon logistics,green low-carbon city,green low-carbon life,green low-carbon public welfare and green circular economy,so as to promote digital technology to play a greater role in the peak carbon dioxide emissions and carbon neutrality of the whole society in the future.
