General Secretary Xi pointed out that “building a new power system with new energy as the main body” means a brand-new concept and disruptive power grid transformation. The new power grid is a new ecosystem that combines reality and virtuality. Through intelligent feedback loops，high penetration rates are used to accept renewable energy，and the hierarchical structure of the power grid makes the peak shaving of the power grid smarter and more flexible. This article introduces in detail how to build a new power system with new energy as the mainstay，and studies related issues such as carbon reduction，effectiveness，overcapacity，and fair competition in the new power system and other related problems，and gives relevant countermeasures.
