基于公开报道的数据统计，2020年我国共有26个省级福利彩票机构举办了87项公益活动，共花费公益资金17871。432万元。这些活动分为6种类型，即扶老类、助学类、助残类、救孤类、济困类和公益文化及其他类。其中济困类活动最多。在资金投入和活动数量方面，东部地区占比最高，其次是西部地区。基于2020年度各省福彩机构开展公益活动在公益管理、资金投入、产出、公益合作、公益沟通等5个方面的现状，提出推动公益创新、建设责任福彩，加强外部引入机制、推进智慧福彩，开展多维公益项目、打造品质福彩，增加公益生机活力、开启青春福彩的建议。
