Popular science informatization construction is an important part of Beijing’s informatization construction. With the development of information technology，the citizens of Beijing have a growing demand for science，and the development of Beijing’s popular science informatization in terms of content and form is facing new challenges. Beijing uses its own geographical and resource advantages to promote the construction of Beijing’s popular science informatization by building a cloud science popularization platform and organizing typical science popularization activities，so that the achievements of Beijing’s popular science informatization construction are in a leading position in the country. This article analyzes the problems existing in the construction of popular science informatization in Beijing，and proposes corresponding improvements and perfect measures，so as to better play the role and value of popular science informatization.
