The Yangtze River represents a representative symbol of the Chinese nation and an iconic symbol of Chinese civilization. The Yangtze River culture is a key source of core socialist values. To preserve，carry forward and promote the Yangtze River culture，it is necessary to take a stock of the availability of resources and blaze a trail for creative transformation and innovative development. By combing through the elements of the Yangtze River culture and making field trips，we have identified the existing problems standing in the way of preserving，carrying forward and promoting the Yangtze River culture. Building on that，we put forward solutions and suggestions on future efforts to preserve，carry forward and promote the Yangtze River culture.
