This report will mainly study the experience accumulated，shortcomings in practice and opportunities faced in the construction of national innovation system. First of all，from the international perspective，the chapter draws lessons from characteristics of other advanced economies to provide valuable experience for the construction of China’s innovation system，then reviews the current situation of China’s NIS development and puts forward some related discussion. Finally，it maps to the exploration of regional innovation system and delivers some suggestions on the construction of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
