Affected by the COVID-19 epidemic,the volume of trade in travel services and transportation services has dropped sharply in 2020,leading to a decline in the overall scale of China’s trade in services in 2020. At the same time,emerging services trade such as telecommunications,computer and information services trade are in a good development situation,and the scale of trade in knowledge-intensive services has expanded significantly. The development of new business forms and models of service trade is accelerating,digital service trade is growing against the trend,and service outsourcing is “increasing in quantity and quality.” At the same time,there are some problems in China’s service trade,such as the uncoordinated development level of service trade within the region,the unbalanced structure of service trade,the long-term deficit of import and export,and the difficulties in the digital transformation of service trade enterprises. Looking ahead,the scale of China’s digital service trade will continue to grow,the quality of service trade development will continue to improve steadily,the restrictions on China’s service trade are still high,and China’s service trade partners will become more diversified.
