Moscow，the capital of Russia，is an international metropolis with a long history and full of modern vitality. After more than 800 years of construction and development，the concept of Moscow urban construction has been changing and improving with the practical needs and the development of The Times. After the 21st century，on the basis of respecting historical and national cultural inheritance，Moscow took full consideration to its urban positioning，industrial structure，well-being of people’s livelihood and future development，integrated tradition with modernity，and formed a unique concept of urban construction. This paper analyzes the current situation of urban construction and development plan of Moscow from the perspective of “Electronic Moscow”，“New Moscow”，“the Information City”，“Safe City”，and “Smart City-2030”，and summarizes its experience and enlightenment in modern urban construction on this basis.
